I had been sitting on the “make a professional website” to-do list item for over a year but was overwhelmed, didn't know where to start, and didn't want to spend precious time as a solopreneur trying to figure out HOW to do it. I knew what I wanted it to look like and what I needed, but it was the in-between that had me in analysis paralysis. Now that my site is actually built, and I love it, I feel this renewed spark in sharing my business more widely. As a consumer/buyer myself, the first thing I do is go searching for a website for a product or business, and I felt like I couldn't really market myself until I had one set up for myself. Now I do!

I love the look and feel. I love how it quickly and easily articulates what I do, what my services are, who I am, and the call-to-action. In the first few hours after it was launched, I had multiple friends, family members, and clients come to me and say that the website looked and felt authentically “me”, which is the ultimate dream.

about me

why I like building websites

When I needed a site for my own business, I knew I wanted a better solution than Squarespace, Canva, or Wix. those take so much time, and recruiting someone to build it for me ran $2,000 to $10,000. that work is amazing, but I wanted something that was easier to start and a lot more affordable. so I started building them myself.

I've always been drawn to making things feel more approachable, more accessible, and less intimidating, especially all things tech! My background in psychology has shaped my interest in supporting others as they move through things that feel new or overwhelming.

I also have years of experience in engineering, and I currently work in product management, which means I build tools and translate complex ideas into things that serve people on the daily. In essence, helping people work smarter, not just harder. And I'm an artist, so I have a strong eye for what feels clean, balanced, and makes sense visually.

I'm often the person people come to when they want to build something but don't know where to start. There's usually a mix of excitement and hesitation, and I totally understand both, so I love getting to help people through it.

All that to say, I've got the expertise and the passion, and I'm excited to get to building!
